If you plan to visit other places in the Philippines, I would suggest Dumaguete in Negros Occidental, The island of Cebu, Batanes, Bohol, Siquijor, Samal Island and El Nido in Palawan. You can also do whitewater rafting in Cagayan de Oro. To give you an idea of these places you can search on; http://www.travelblog.org and search for the Philippines in the links.
