Marie and Louden: Thank you for your comments above. I was in the Philippines ( Marinduque )for the last six months and had no easy access to the internet. I had just read your e-mails so do not feel I ignored your questions. Marie, I hope you are settled by now. Hey David… I am going to live in the Philippines for 6 months (January-June 2009). My plan is to work at an orphanage for 12 weeks. I was born in Quezon City in 1981. And have lived in California for 20 years. Do you have any advise or things I should take into consideration before moving to Manila for 6 months? I will be living with my Uncle’s family in Las Pinas. I would greatly appreciate an information/ advise you can give me. Kindly… M

You are welcome to visit us in Marinduque. My busy season is Easter week due to the Moriones Festival. Any time of the year is slow, but June is a fairly busy with wedding receptions. Recently, the province hosted a tourist conference and was held at Chateau. Please visit http://www.marinduque.gov.ph under blog see STTC conference. Hi David
Thanks for visiting my blog and i went and looked at your site. Marinduque Island looks like a beautiful place. I especially liked the conference center and maybe in the future i can host a conference there. As far as people being envious of our lifestyle I’ve noticed so much jealousy that I don’t mention so much to people here in the states about what I do anymore.
