Charice Sighting

I’m checking in with you all to let you know I’m still alive and kicking. I’m enjoying my new apartment because I really thought my former house was too big. It really needed lots of tender loving care and I’m sure the new owners will give it that because I know them well.

Did everyone see Charice on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? She was on a float and dressed in a real cute outfit. The only problem I had was she sang “Because you love me” I know this is her favorite song but I have heard and seen her sing other songs and I reallly want the world to see what talent she has. Maybe she has some original songs to sing or a tagalog song.

Well thats all for now but I can tell you I am researching some real interesting subjects for my coming posts. Keep checking back for the updates.

Well I understand your disappointment regarding the song she sang in the Thanksgiving Parade. The world audiences are expecting her to be a SuperDiva and the Americans see her as that. Her image coincides with this and the songs she sings in American venues, do reflect the path her American handlers i.e. David Foster and Oprah are taking her. She is the International Young Diva afterall even though everybody know’s how versitile she is.

In Philippines venues and guesting, she has more versatility and sings whatever she wanted to sing from Soul, RnB, Pop, Kundiman, OPM or others. This is the reason that she loves to perform in PI events even in the United States.

    Hi FAN
I wasn’t really disappointed in Charice because like you I know she is an International Diva and is very talented. I have seen many videos of her performances in other countries. I feel that maybe she realizes being able to sing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a high honor and she wanted to honor her mother there. I really want the United States to have more chances to hear Filipino music so I hope in one of her performances she gives the US a bit more of her range.
