As you all probably know I am a big fan of Arnel Pineda and Journey and of course Charice too. I try to read as much as I can about these two Filipino artists. I’ve found a video of Arnel being interviewed on Sharon and it contains English subtitles which is very helpful for me and anyone else who has not mastered tagalog yet. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Hi Dan – with my wife’s prodding (insistence), we went to see Arnel w/Journey last Sept when they came through town with Cheap Trick and Heart. I posted an article about it on my site the day after. Other than the poor acoustics, it was a very memorable night.
It’s a great story, that’s for sure.

I have seen Cheap Trick before but Heart & Journey are two bands I would like to see. I’m an old 70′s/80′s rock and roll fan. The dream concert for me would be Arnel and Journey live in the Philippines. I may have seen Arnel play in Olongapo way back when but I’m not sure. I spent ten years from the mid 70′s to mid 80′s living in Olongapo.
