Laguna Hot Springs
The last time I visited the Philippines we went to one of the hot spring resorts in Laguna. The name of the place was C3Y Villa and it was in Pansol, Calamba, Laguna. It boasts over 600 square meters of greeneries carressed by cool mountain breezes nurtured with natural hot springs.
There was a group of 10 of us including my sister in laws, my brother in law, and my nieces and nephews. We went for the night swimming actually arriving at about 7pm. The water was very warm, I would compare it to a perfect bathwater temperature. We took a picnic dinner and rented one of the huts and spread everything out. Since it was at night there were very few people to contend with and if you know how I feel about big crowds you would know that I was pleased. The kids had alot of fun and I really got to spend some valuable time getting to know them.
While there I went and checked out the rooms and am happy to say this would be a very nice place to stay. The rooms were very clean and the rates were reasonable. When we return to the Philippines we will be spending a couple of days there to get away from the city. This resort is close to our house which means just a short drive.
There are other hot springs resorts such as Hidden Valley Springs and Villa Teresa as well as dozens more that I won’t mention at this time. There is a blog that specializes on these resorts so please visit it at http://www.laguna-hotspring.com/ for more information.
